Maple Sugary Goodness (with some history)

The Schwartz family bundled up and headed to the Maple Sugar Festival. The festival is an annual event at the John James Audubon Society at Mill Grove. The day was beautiful but the wind was chilling. We enjoyed free admission to the amazing collection of birds and furry friends in the three story museum on the property. We enjoyed pancakes, fresh maple syrup maple cream and jack wax.

After the festival we took refuge in the warmth of Valley Forge Welcome Center. George is a history buff and he spent part of the day teaching Sophia allllll about Valley Forge. There was a wall of birthday cards from local children in celebration of G. Washington's birthday.
